Description

These were my Grandfather's statues. He said his Dad got them in Portugal when he was young... which would date them over 100 years old now, at least.  Of course, we all know how family stories go. :)  But, I do know that my Dad grew up with them in his house, and then in our house growing up... and now in my own home as an adult.

The only mark on them is a stamp: BU 572    They both have the same stamp.

They stand about a foot tall each.

My Dad said that when he was a kid, the male held a fishing pole.

Any help would be amazing! They've always been a mystery to us.
