Description
Antique chair inherited from family member. Originated in southwest. Chairs are wooden with cloth backing as well as flat cloth on seat with no cushion. Metal star like tacks hold cloth in place. Looking for possible era or period that this chair came from. Looking for possible value as well as history on where chairs may have come from. Thanks
Re: Antique chair
The picture is not very clear, but this looks like a "Hall Chair", these were used in front halls of Victorian homes for messengers and visitors to sit on. Generally they came in matched pairs. This one is very rough, at auction it would go for under $75.00.
