Description
This and other Chinese embroidery i now have in my possession belonged to my grandmother who was born in 1899. I remember as a young girl how she spoke of a friend of hers who was a missionary in china. I believe this friend was quite older than my grandmother. I presume all the pieces I now have (50years later) were given to my grandmother by this friend. It is all hand embroidered and appears to be on silk. The craftsman is remarkably beautiful. The size is about 2' x 2'.
