This coffee table is very nice. I am not sure if the table is in original height. Please check at the legs near the feet . If the table had been shorten, there will be evidence of re attached feet, The form of the table should be much higher. Best Regards Kasem Woramahakun CopperRed Chinese Porcelain and Works of Art

I couldn't find evidence of them being shortened.  One leg looks like it had been broken and reattached at the point that you spoke of, but the rest no.  Are they antiques?  Would they have any value.  I love the tables and hope to find more about them.

These are made for export pieces, similar examples are still in production. Most like this date from the turn of the 19th century through the 1920's.
