I am looking for information on this Chippendale style corner or roundabout chair I picked up in W. Virginia. According to the information I can find, the more cabrioles, the more expensive. This one has 4. I have found a few reproductions online, but don't know how to tell if this is original or a reproduction. The odd thing is that the ones I have found are 30" high. This one is only 22" to the arm and 24" to top of back. I haven't been able to find any others that size.
My sister was going to recover the seat for me and found what looks to be the fabric original to the chair. The fabric on the bottom of this chair is numbered 363. The numbering on the chair is 150 363. I feel like that probably has something to do with fabric or style, but I'm not sure. I would appreciate any information about it's history and value.
