A nice antique fruit mill and press for someone that is serious about making wine, apple cider etc. This bridge style press is well over 100 years old and has some very nice age to show including the aged patina of the wood and the stenciling. This press is in exceptional shape, and are hard to find in this state of condition. The acids in the fruit and the fact that many of these presses were left out exposed to the elements have turned many of the presses that you see into weathered artifacts that have no resemblence to what they were when they were new. This is the largest size of two legged presses. This beauty came from Northern MA.
It is missing the original wooden basket, may have been used as a flower pot or something like that.
