Cigar boxes are one of those things that are collected, but they must almost in mint condition to be worth anything. In the rough one finds them as containers for hardware, nuts bolts etc. but by this point the labels are worn, torn or discolored and they seldom sell for more than $10.00.

Lovejoy

Cigar boxes were more collectible in the 1980's, but now they often go for under $20.00 at best at auction, even if in very good condition. Lovejoy

i found a Canaria D'oro cigar box for coronas and i was wondering if it would be worth anything. it still has the pictures on it ,and the only main worn down part is the edge of the wood where the lid connects to the actual box so it opens like a lid. I would really like to know its value ,so if anyone can find even a close estimate to its price i would be grateful.

When it comes to cigars, I must admit that it's my passion. I've made a hobby from it. I also have an old cigars box which belonged to my grand-grandfather and it's so special how it's designed. And when it comes to the type of cigars I put in, well, I only like to buy them from an online store because every time I receive them it's like Christmas present to me.
