Description
This is an 8 foot long heavy wooden counter/bar. The back is open with one shelf across the bottom. Sorry I don't have a pic of the back. There is a metal tag in the center that says Schmidt and Co., Cincinnati, OH. The top is solid marble, although it is cracked into 3 pieces. I can't find any information on the Schmidt company. Would love to know the history and value. This was used in my grandparents' gas station/grocery mart in the 70s/80s. It had been painted several times and my dad stripped it to find this beautiful wood.
I plan to use this in my kitchen/dining room area someday!
