antique danish furniture i know nothing about the age or anything

By william, 30 July, 2008
Description

these photos are not the best my granparents took them i realy just want to know how old it is possibly the maker or country of origin. i only have photos of the chair and the big cabinet there is also a side buffet in the same style as well as a table with two leaves and eight chairs i believe. its in very good condition.i am sorry these photos are bad but will take better ones soon. i am really mostly interested in the age if you have a idea of value it would be nice as well i have been told it from denmark but i do believe the age they say it is. i am thinking this is maybe art deco period but they seem to think it is much older. if someone could tell me if the french clock on the side table buffet looks like it could be from the 1800s it would be a bonus for me as well. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket i am very sorry about the bad photos and vague description but its all the info i have at present. any ideas or thoughts are appreciated. thanks

Re: antique danish furniture i know nothing about the age or any

after some more digging i have learned this set was shipped around 1968 from denmark.

i have also been told the finish perhaps is tiger maple faux finished.

 any ideas would be nice.

i have no idea of the date of manufacture. i also suspect the darker parts are faux finished.
