This desk is made of wood, medium stain finish. It has 2 sets of 3 drawers on each side of it and one in the center. The credenza which is removable has to doors on the side that has slots for files on the right side and square cubbies on the left. The top lifts and reveal more cubbies. I was old that this desk was originally owned by a Colorado senator in the late 1800's and he had it brought to Colorado from the east coast. My father gave it to me shortly before he passed away. It is in good condition, there is some areas where the stain has rubbed off from the hardware on the drawers. The top of the desk is green felt with glass over it. Also on the right side of the desk, no pictures as I can't move it, there is door that has an area for storing shot glasses, glasses and alcohol in it.
