I have just purchased an antique desk and its pretty unique. Has a brass stamp on the front with the number 140 stamped on it. It was made by Clemco. It appears to me made out of oak. Also has the numbers 10444 stamped on the bottom of the middle drawer. It is in good condition although well loved and very sturdy. Would definitely like to know more about the history of this desk and the brass stamping makes me think it was either used for a specific purpose or 140th of something?
