Andrew J. Cron (1852-1905) joined R.B. Kills to found Cron Kills Co. in Piqua in 1880. Before that, Cron had worked at another Piqua furniture-manufacturing company, L.C. & W.L. Cron Furniture Co. Cron Kills was still in business in the late 1940s. Desks like this one were made from the turn of the 19th century through the 1920's, at auction most now go for under $100.00
