History
Has been in the family for at least 30 years. Set is in excellent condition. The chairs are not original to the set.
We had an estate buyer come out to look at purchasing all of the furniture from my moms home... He said the dining room furniture was from the 30's and offered $300 for the entire set. Does this seem like a realistic price?
You could gamble and deliver it to a consignment auction.. But candidly I bought a set a few weeks back at $80 at auction with 6 chairs similar to what you have in the photos. I have seen sets similar going for less that what you were offered. Serious.

Thanks for the input Dee! It's amazing how cheap things like this sell for today...
