Description

Inherited from my grandparents (by the way they and I are living in England), it has a faded old label on the base saying "Taylors of Pimlico" but I think they may have just been a furniture-moving company.

It appears to be (and my mother thinks it is) mahogany, and she believes it is at least 100 years old. There is a line around the outer rim of the table that my father believes is a "Nelson line" which would date it to the early 19thC.

It has a simple removable leaf mechanism in the middle, to reduce the size of the table down if necessary.

Any thoughts welcome!
