Antique doll marionette? one of a kind very unusual character

By becca629, 18 March, 2010
Description

I was looking on craigslist for collectables when i came across this doll. They were asking $30.00 and I asked if they would take $20.00. The lady said yes and i took off on my 40 mile journey to get her. I had many issues as i tried to get to her in the dark rainy night. i finally got there and my mouth fell open. My eyes could not believe what I was seeing. I instantly fell in love with her even though she looked spooky to me. She was bigger than i thought from the picture on craigslist. I said loudly I Love her! And i do there is just something about her very spiritual and questioning of who she is what she did and awe! As i drove home i felt very spooked at first and then I relaxed knowing she is not going to do anything to me. I drove through taco bell for tacos when the girl at the window said What in the world is That!? I said oh, you have to see my doll. She came in 2 pieces (a pencil holds her together now) so i had to put her together as i picked her up with her smiling face and real type hair. The girl looked at me and said how could you ride in your car alone with that!? I told her at first I asked my self that question and she asked me if I ever seen the movie "Pinochios revenge"? and I said no and she said very spooky and i wouldn't be alone in that car! She called more employees over and they all gasped in horror asking me if I saw Childsplay with Chucky. again I said no and they all acted in horror so i took it was another spooky movie. So I went home in a hurry to see what my husband thought and very excited to be the proud owner of her. I took her in the car as she looked out the window and she got much attention. I took her to bingo and I have had many people just look at her in awe, some spooked and others felt the love. A friend of mind suggested a movie called Chucky's Mistress. I truly love her even in her not so good condition. I was offered $300 and I said no way! I truly have a spiritual type love for her as if she were a child. She stands on my dresser and i give her a little affection as I walk by her most times. My thoughts wonder about her and how she lived before I became her owner. She is well used and she is very dirty but i keep her just the way she is. Her arms look as if they had strings to play act like a puppet. I am hoping you will know some thing about her and what you feel she might be worth.
