Dresser unit in three parts (base with four drawers), top, and Drawer/mirror unit. Blackened wood surrounding the drawers. Veneered edging (some is damaged).13

Looks like a Biedermeier…

Looks like a Biedermeier piece made in Central Europe. Furniture like this was made between 1815 and 1848, a kind of mix of Empire and early Victorian pieces.

History
Been in our family for over 50 years. Unknown origin. Some pieces are missing (e.g., back left support). Otherwise, all the drawers function well. Beautiful handles and blackened wood surrounds.
