Profile picture for user smithfield13@yahoo.com

Description

I have no history on this piece. A friend gave it to me...she got it from a friend....

It does clean up with silver cleaner very well. It's got some age spots? May clean up professionally but I don't know. There are no dents or damage parts except the two photos I sent marked damage 1 and 2. The damage is on the hinge connecting the front door to the press. All parts are there...it needs to be soldered back on.

The front door has an  with a picture/Inscription of an "Open Gate" and "Jack V Charlies 21"

I don't know what the material is but appears to be brass and/or silver...the interior strainer and bowl is not tarnished at all...I have never cleaned it. On the bottom of the bowl is stamped "15" this is also stamped on the duck press.
