Any more information you can give me, would be much appreciated. I would say this item is in excellent to good condition. No dings, a few scratches, and on the bottom it's showing in a few spots the copper underneath. I would also like to find out what this piece was used for. Thanks, Sunshine.

History
I found it at a secound hand store. I know by looking at it, it looks to be silverplated the old way, not electro plated. The maker mark initials are marked old english style and numbers as well. Through my searching, I have found out t hat E A L E S, was made in Sheffield. England.
