Description

This 19th century English copper log bin (with steel bottom) was originally used on board an English ship.  Brass handles were added later.  It is 18 inches tall and 15 inches diameter.  The bottom is made of steel and is welded and riveted onto the sides.   The steel band has some corrosion but is structurally sound (see picture below).
