Description  I am trying to find out the date it was made and what its worth is i am trying to sell it but do not have enough information on it the only reason im selling it is because ive been out of work since may 23rd when i was hit by a fed ex truck and desperatly need money i would not sell it otherwise.

<p>Not much I&#39;m afraid, there are a ton of old sewing machines dating from the second quarter of the 20th century on the market that nobody wants. Up until the 1940&#39;s virtually every home had a sewing machine, which means very few other than very rare examples made during the early years of the 19th century are sought after. Lovejoy My question is similar to and earlier post with regard to a Free Westinghouse sewing machine. I also have one that looks quite similar to the machine in the pictures from the post on: Mon, 09/29/2008- 4:10pm by jpeachy Category: General Antiques & Collectibles. However mine has the datestamp of 1912 on the machine... how does this change the value?

I have my mom's Westinghouse New Home Sewing Machine.  It is approximately 60 years old.  The cabinet is in excellent condition and the machine works.  It is style # 956227-C.  Does anyone know the value of this machine and where I could sell it?
