Antique German made wooden sailing ship model

Description

This is a wooden ship model with 3 masts and on one of the decks it is stamped Germany . There are no numbers but there is a coat of arms on 1 of the sails but it is too faint to read. It has 1 gun on each side and is painted mostly black allthough there are some blue flecks of paint around the rails

History
It was supposedly built by my grandfather but I tend to doubt that because of the Germany label although it could have been a kit he put together ...he died in the early 1970's and was about 80 years old
