Re: Antique German Wall Clock
German R.A. Wall Clock w/Cherub & Posts
THIS IS A GERMAN R-A STYLE WALL CLOCK MADE BY THE KIENZLE CLOCK CO. IN SCHRAMBERG, GERMANY, CIRCA 1900-1920. When it comes to clocks I call this one a plain Jane.. some of these clocks can get real fancy and can go for $1000.s. your clock I see sells for around $100.00 to $300.00 area.
Some people think the R/A stands for Retard/Advance and the bottom post is pointing to the sticker below it for timming.. I can't find any info on what the 1200 would mean.
"NOTE" I do not claim to be an expert........
I am going only off what I can see from your photos. and the lack of any markings. are there any markings on the clock movements? #SS number?
