Art Deco Period Gold Mesh Clutch Purse
I would guess Origin Eastern Seaboard US, At this time it was common for many dress makers would make purses to match the outfits. The hardware is of this period (kiss clasp sometimes refered too) Earlier Victorian Pieces had much fancier hardware. During the early 1930's it was common for women to carry their purse close to their body .. thus a lack of a strap or finger ring type holder.

This piece is not an antique because its under 100 years old ... It is however a lovely Vintage Art Deco Period Clutch. probably Pre Depression 1933.
Estimate Value : $75 - $135 US pending on market and demand.
