Hi There,
My husband and I inherited two Antique Gold Painted hanging masks. They are from his great uncle who lived in upstate new york and was a photogragpher for the wealthy. When he passed these were passed down to my husband, but he was way to young to remember any details. They are wooden, carved, painted with gold on the front, and include mosaic mirror glass in detail. I have attached photos of the front and back. There are no artist markings or signatures either. There are two, one wth white mirror tiles and one with white and blue.
Any help idetifying where these came from or the history of them would be wonderfull! Thank you so much!
