costelmarin3 if I'm not mistken that's a letter opener which is part of a 1970's brass elephant desk set. Just do a Google search on "1970's Brass Elephant Desk Set" and you'll see images of the whole set which consist of a paperweight, magnifying glass, trinket box and the letter opener. Hope this information helps.
