ANTIQUE GREEN METAL SEWING MACHINE TOY OR SALEMANS SAMPLE

By tysmom1995, 8 October, 2016
Description

I would welcome and appreciate any additional information I can find about this as I won it in addition to a stove at an auction and I am fascinated by them. The very closest ones I can find are German made Muller brand models from the 1920's, however either the cutout at the bottom is a different shape or the graphic design on the body is different. There was one that is called the Red Riding Hood model, but it's called that because the image has Red Riding Hood on it, of course. I am thinking the one I have may be pretty rare and back then having a toy that was anything other than Black was a pretty expensive commodity from my own knowledge of other antiquities, just in passing. Anyway, I am including 3 close up pictures that I hope will help and thanks so much, in advance!!
