antique hand carved furniture, violin and birds

We have a set of furniture that we know very little about. There is a large couch, about 7'7" long, with intricate woodworking, including a pair of birds. There are two matching high back chairs with violins carved in the top, however their wood/stain color is different. There is a low back chair with carvings matching the large couch. There is also an ottoman that doesn't seem to match the set, however all the pieces have been reupolstered some time ago and well perserved in custom plastic covers. We are hoping to find out who the manufacturer was, an approximation on the year it would have been made, and and estimated value. Any information is greatly appreciated.
