Antique Handpainted Oriental Vase

Description While we don't know how old this vase is, we do know that it is hand crafted and hand painted. The paintings on the vase seem to be of Oriental background. There are lots of different scenes and scenarios all over the vase - almost like they're telling a story. There are also these golden protruding moldings all over the top portion of the vase. They're difficult to explain, but you can see them in the photos. This vase is between 60-80 pounds, and it incredibly heavy. The paint is still in very good condition, and it seems like there is a glossy coat over the entire vase - which makes it shine. The gold used looks VERY convincing, although we're not sure whether or not it's the real deal. But it looks very nice and we've had it for a few years, and we're wondering if it is - indeed - worth anything.
