Antique Irish tobacco advertisments

By pnixon1, 27 August, 2014
Description

In 1970 at the age of fifteen I worked with my father during the Summer months, where he and his brother owned a small construction company in Dublin, Ireland. An old store which was locked up since after WW2 was to be demolished and replaced with a new building. After busting in the front door we found ourselves in a time freeze where everything was left as it was all thode years ago. These two advertisments sat on the counter next to a cash register.

Vintage tobacco counter top advertisments

The condition of both advertisments are good in that when framed would make excellent wall art. Although is frowned upon now. It did play an important role in the history of mankind.

Re: Antique Irish tobacco advertisments

We'd probably retail these framed for about $150.00 each.
