antique, ivory chess set...hand carved. half the pieces natural and half stained brown with black detailing to enhance the carved detailing.

Medium they are all ivory with a wood and glass display case

Distinguishing marks no marks but on one piece which is displayed in pics.. possibly a Jaques Staunton creation.

Condition Excellent

Size and dimensions of this item figures range from 2.5" to 5.25"

Date Period Set certified and appraised in 2009 by Webb House Appraisals... circa. 1910-1930

Weight varied

History unknown. Purchased from estate sale.
