antique japanese katana in russo-japanese fittings

Description The blade has a few small knicks and some pitting, however none are more than a 1/4 of an inch. The blade is not polished. I have cleaned the blade with sword oil, but I have not touched the tang. The fittings are Russo- Japanese military, I think. I have researched over 3,000 signature on-line and I am unable to find a match. The signature on the tang seems to match the signature on the top of the handle. I have tried to find more info on-line, but free help is hard to find. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
