This is a beautiful incised ovoid stoneware jug. The size indicates that it is likely a sales sample. I wish I could see the lettering more clearly. It would help pin down where it was made. It could be from Pa, OH, NY, but hard to tell. Very nice. I have seen these go for $100-$200. The small ones are hard to find, especially with no cracks or chips.
