This peice I picked up at action at the local salvation army store. It predates 1935, this was the last year Keil furniture Co used this Logo, A.A.Luan Furniture Company bought out and reoganized Kiel in 1935. Kiel came to america in 1892 from Germany. They were known for their high quality end tables.they were based in wisscosion. The preveious owner donated all the catalogs and magazines to a historic society called Sheboygan Historic Soceity based in wisscosion. Most but not all the catalogs made it to their new home. Yup you guessed it , not this piece unfortunitly it was in one of the missing catalogs. It is made of a hard wood unknown guessing maple or oak. Im a ameture at best tracking down histrical pieces. My best guess is that it was used at one time to place a phone on by the wear and tear on the top, it needs to be replaced. I would like to find out when it was manufactured, and in present condition its value and if restored what it might bring. Any help would be greatly appericated
