Antique Koala Plush Toy

I was given this to me by a friend when we were chldren. The story behind it is, when her family bought a property with a house that was planned for demolition, they discovered the house was full of items! Antique furniture and this was one of the small items discovered.

Does anyone know anything about it? Does it have any value?
