Description

Lamp is a boy or cherb standing on a base with a small bowl to hold the oil on his head. The oil container has flowers in the brass. The globe is original and has fading brown flowers painted around it with a brass ring around the top. The wick is round and moved up with a lever rather than a knob.

History Lamp has been in family more than 70 years. Bought by my grandfather from an "old" woman in need of money. Her parents brought it over with them on the ship before she was born. It has original globe and the wick is pulled up rather than turned. I believe it to be well over 100 years old.
Price Paid (If known) $10 in 1930s
