By madelinescloset, 13 February, 2014
Description

I have a framed picture from Doris Lee and this is signed on the bottom left of print Doris Lee 1939. All of the other prints I saw were signed on the right side with no date. Also I am wondering if this is a litho or a print. The frame looks to be origional. Any information will be greatly apretiated.

Thank You

Madeline

Not sure if this is of much help, but I know that the signed black and white lithos of the same painting sell for around $600-$1200 so I would think your piece would be worth substantially more as one of the rarer color lithos.

Thank You for replying. Would it be the one with the signature and date at the bottom left. All I have seen is only the signature on the bottom right.

Thanks

Hi - I have seen black & white lithos with the signature on the left, but also other versions with it on the right. I'm specifically referring to the one I've seen with it on the left. I have not seen your litho in color before, but have seen other images of the original painting done in color on postcards, etc.
