Antique maybe midcentury Dresser/Chest

Description

I have a piece of what I believe is antique furniture. Maybe midcentury? We think it is from Birds Eye Maple wood. It is a solid, heavy dresser. I bought it at a garage sale and was a friend’s mothers who had passed. At one point there was a tag on the back that said Minneapolis Furniture Company but somehow that has been torn off. It looked quite old. The hardware is the original. The drawer slides are wood inserts.

Any guesses on what this could be, from when, or resale value?
