I had inherited this vase when one of my clients I worked with had passed away. He was a big collector of various types of antique art and collectibles. Any information on this piece, like the origin, time period, and it’s worth, would be greatly appreciated!

Distinguishing marks There are four Asian characters on the bottom. Any help as to what they mean would be of great help.
