Antique Mirror

By jruiz48, 24 October, 2008
Description

This is an antique wooden  mirror with a raised floral scroll effect.
The antique photograph (which is painted on and signed by the artist) was discovered in back of the mirror recently. The photograph is on a material similar to matboard. There is an artist's signature on the photograph. It says G.A. and we cannot make out the last name.
.

The size of the mirror's outer perimeter is approximately 12 1/2 inches x 14 1/2 inches.
The mirror itself is in good condition though when taking photographs the shiny mirror part did not show up.
We have had this mirror for a number of years and it is one of the last pieces that were a  part of a huge load of antiques that we purchased in northern Arizona.
It was previously owned by a pianist who had a number of auction pieces.
