Description

this cabinet has shelves on the bottom, and the top piece drops down, with chains, to a level spot, as if to write on. Someone said it's a Music cabinet. I'm interested to know the period it's from, the actual purpose of the piece and the approx value. It's in pretty good condition, with some expected wear. I don't know enough about furniture to know if something was original or repaired. Thanks in advance.
