I have been told that these chairs are old schoolhouse or courthouse chairs. They are a set of 18 and would be perfect for a wild west movie set or an old courthouse or schoolhouse film/movie. Also, since they are a set of 18, they would be perfect for a very long antique table since all 18 chairs match.
