I just purchased this box. It seems to be very old and has a illegible signature / date on both bottom left and right corners. It is about 3 1/2 inches x 4. Not sure what the origin, may be Russian. Thank you, Anna

I have seen a round one of these. Definitely Russian Federation in origin.
