Description

I have an antique pickle castor/ jar that I would like to determine it's worth.  It is 10" tall from base to top of handle, 4" in diameter at the base.  It includes the holder, the jar (seems to be perfect condition, no chips, cracks, etc.), the tongs, and the lid.

The lid has 3 metal daisies and some leaves on the top.  Inside the lid states "Middletown Plate Co. Quadruple Plate" with the number 172 stamped/etched. and "Hard White Metal".

The bottom of the holder is "James W. Tufts Boston Warranted, Quadruple Plate" with the number 3603.  Above this stamp is in what looks to be handwriting in the metal the number 184.

Thank you!!
