It's whats called a "Flow Blue Historical Plate" many of them depict scences of American history, such as the Revolutionary War, but the bulk of these plates strangly enough made in Staffordshire, England rather than the USA. Such early 19th century plates like this one are very collectible, this one by Clews generally goes at auction for about $90.00 these days.
