Description

Appraisal required for an antique canvas pocket photo album 13X10cm  with a hand painted Cat & Umbrella caricature on cover. Painting reminiscent of the early 1900s British artist Louis Wain who specialised in animal & particularly cats in human poses & quite few with umbrellas. The painting is to the front album canvas cover & although the album is worn the picture is complete & with bright colouring.Found in a dusty english country house attic, nothing is known of this item apart from the date c1920s. The album is empty & is complete with its leaves. Can you help to verify & value?
