Pictured is what I believe to be a purse/wallet or snuff box from China. It is metal based. The frame has rusted. The front is brass and has some type of Chinese inscription. The brass front open up to reveal a wallet type of compartment that held a mother of pearl key?? The top of the item has a brass handle.
