This lamp is a a W.B. Brown model 258. It was sold also sold as a 4 Light Electric dome. The lamp was sold in 17 inch shade size, and the dome in 17 and 22 inch sizes, and was offered with or without a beaded fringe (seed beads or cut glass beads). There is a good chance the glass in yours is original. It should be bumpy on one side and smooth on the other. In which case it is original, and the fringe it originally sported would most likely have been red. The glass was also made in Indiana, at Kokomo Irridescent Art Glass, which is still in business to this day. They are able to match glass and can confirm if yours is original.
I own an original hanging version of this fixture.
W.B. Brown was a company based in Bluffton Indiana from 1907 to 1923, and they were the predominant manufacturer of wooden light fixtures during this era.
