It's not silver. "Rostfrei" is literal German for "rust-free', which is their name of stainless steel. Value is under $100.

Unless it's marked with hallmarks or numerical equivelents such as "925" ( Sterling is 92.5 % pure silver), it's not Sterling. Unmarked sets are stainless steel or silver plated.
