Antique Secretary Desk

Appraisal complete
Description

This desk belonged to my inlaws.  When they passed away, it was passed through the family until it reached me.  It had been painted an ugly mustard color and needed some some tlc.  I stripped it, sanded it, stained it with special walnut minwas stain, and put several coats of satin poly on it.

While stripping and sanding, I found a sticker on the back of the desk.  The only thing I could read on it was:  Rockford Desk Co., Furniture Manufacturer, Rockford, Illinois.  Also on the back top right corner, the number 22 was etched in.  I also found the number 22 on two other pieces.

I am hoping you can let me know if this desk is worth anything.

Thank you for any information you can supply to me.
