I found this in an old barn. It's a Sherwood standard silver one piece trumpet. It's in its original case and has one dent in the flared part. I know nothing about trumpets but it does appear to be quite old. It has a design on the flared part as well. Also I just noticed on the finger buttons it looks like a pearl inlay.  I need to know anyrhing anyone may know about it.

Sherwood was a music company that sold horns during the 1920-1950 time period. Most of their horns were made by Conn. The Pan American division made horns for hundreds of stores using stencil names like Sherwood, Continental, American, and Wurlitzer. The standard was their intermediate line, while the Master was their pro line. They are built solid and play well. I'd say $150.00.
